Smoky Mountain Country Club is a gated, 335-acre resort community in the mountains of Western North Carolina, an hour west of Asheville. 

Smoky Mountain Country Club first opened for play in 1996. The course was designed by Thomas Walker. The course was redesigned in 2007 by J. Porter Gibson and Andy Nelson.

With the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Nantahala National Forest at our doorstep, Smoky Mountain Country Club offers our residents a truly unique environment - surrounded by over 1,000,000 acres of federally protected parklands. The Smoky Mountain Country Club Golf Course is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Whittier, North Carolina.

With 400 feet of elevation changes, from valley floors to mountain-tops this course provides a unique golfing experience.

The course plays to a par 70 and measures just over 6,000 yards.
